About
Pandory3D is a set of improvements / new features for the 3D range of the Pandora Box arcade boards, fixing many errors and misconfigurations that the system has when it comes from the factory. Pandory can prepare a USB stick to add games to these models and can optionally install a "jailbreak" to activate our software optimisations/fixes.
It is compatible with the following models:
- Pandora Games 3D - 2448 / 4018 Games, blue GB3000 motherboard, with firmware 20191017, 20200217
- Pandora Games 3D+ - 4018 Games, blue GB3000 motherboard, with firmware date of 20200704 or 20200811
- Pandora EX2 - Green dual motherboards with firmware dates of 20190826, 20210101, 20210303, 20230101, 20230303.1
- Pandora Games 3D+ - 7000 Games, blue motherboard with S905 and a firmware revision of 20201225.2
- Pandora Saga 3D - 2650/4188 Games, green S812-00* motherboard, firmware 20190826.
- Pandora Saga 18S - 8000 Games, green S812-00* motherboard, firmware 20190826.

1 - Some of these models cannot start the jailbreak installation. Suck it and see.
2 - These models only support adding games and cannot be currently jailbroken.
Features
Game Installer
Pandory can prepare a USB stick that, when inserted, will add games/roms you provide to your Pandora console. They will be installed to the micro-sd. Game videos and titles are automatically identified and downloaded with the inbuilt scraper function.
Advanced users: You can optionally install to the USB stick itself instead of the micro-sd by creating a games folder at the root of the USB stick. If you have no micro-sd inserted the games will be installed to the interal NAND storage of your console.
4:3 Aspect Ratio Correction
Old arcade games were mostly in 4:3 aspect ratio, but the Pandora 3D range will stretch this image to the size of your screen, even if you have a 16:9 monitor. Pandory3D will correct this for you automatically.
Advanced users: Pandory3D includes button shortcuts to set aspect ratio manually. Hold START+(Player 1- E) to switch between them.
Button Shortcuts
Pandory enables certain button combinations to activate extra functionality, including starting the Android Launcher, accessing system settings, activating the pause-menu, changing aspect-ratio and performing a safe-shutdown. Note: this only works on internally connected controllers, not USB controllers.
Easy Unbrick
Some models of the Pandora 3D range are prone to corruption of video settings, which causes a black-screen on boot. This is caused by either switching to 1080p mode, or sudden power loss. If you install the Pandory3D jailbreak you will be able to restore your video settings by holding the Pause button for 30 seconds and letting go.
Networking Services
Pandory enables FTP access on port 7777 and telnet access on port 4444 so you can access your system remotely via WIFI. It also adds support for USB LAN adapters if you have a model without a wireless connection. Additionally, type the network IP of your Pandora in to a web browser to access the "Pandory Remote", which allows you to install apps or change settings wirelessly.

MAME-Configs
If you use the setting menu to delete a game and then reinstall it using Pandory, it will reinstall many games with optimized button configurations / control or dual-stick fixes / support for 3 or 4 players.

Advanced users: If you delete and reinstall a Final Burn Alpha rom, such as Metal Slug and many other Neo-Geo games, Pandory will reinstall the rom with an accelerated emulated CPU configuration, which reduces slowdown in several games. This only works on non-3d+ models (firmware earlier than 20200714)!
APK-Installer
If you use Pandory to access the Android Launcher, you can use the inbuilt APK installer to install any compatible Android 4.4 APK, allowing you to install additional apps and emulators.
Moonlight
If you install the Moonlight APK you can stream your PC desktop to your Pandora and access your whole Steam Library! (LAN recommended instead of wireless).
Dip Switches
Want to configure/tweak your game, or maybe enable blood in censored games? Hold down START+(Player 1 D) while in a game and, if the game supports it, you can access the dipswitch menu to change settings.
Graphics Optimizations
Pandory activates GPU hardware rendering to reduce input-lag, MSAA smoothing for 3D graphics and hue/contrast/saturation adjustments to more closely match original arcade hardware.
Safe shutdown
The Pandora 3D range does not offer an option to safely shutdown the machine. Use the button shortcut START+(Player 1 A+B+C) to activate software-shutdown.
Retroarch
Install the Retroarch APK to access many more additional emulators.
Dreamcast Save-Support
Pandory installs Dreamcast NVRAM data that enables save-support and pre-unlocks characters in certain games.
Activate extra save-states
If you access the settings menu and hold Player 1 F you can use the service menu to activate save-states for many inbuilt-games that by default don't allow this feature. Pandory includes a list of games that can be reconfigured.
Playstation 1 Fixes
Pandory fixes various PS1 BIOS issues and fixes Tekken 1, which previously didn't run.
Linux version
Use Linux? Install our Flatpak and use PandoryTool without the need of a Windows machine!
Fixes for the PPSSPP Emulator / Games
You can use Pandory to install some optional fixes for the PSP emulator. These include better control mappings, fixes for broken games, speed optimizations, enable two player mode for certain games and have direct access to the internal PPSSPP Emulator menu.

Pandory3D (installing the jailbreak and the facility to add games) is carried out by our PandoryTool Ultimate software, which is included in the download and can also improve other Pandora variants. We will send you an installation guide as soon as you start downloading.

PandoryTool is libre software, licensed under the freedoms of the GPL2. All source-code is available to compile free-of-charge on Github. Pre-compiled builds of the latest version are available here on Itch and any proceeds support further development of our software. Older pre-compiled builds are available without cost on our website, but may not include all the latest features you see on this page.
